Movie :
Muppets Treasure Island
Just in case you thought we only watched Disney movies at my house. My kids love the muppets, but some of the humor is a little more adult than the other movies I have included. Check out Common Sense Media's review to see if it's appropriate for your kids. My boys also love to play pirates, so this was a hit with them.
It is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island starring the Muppet Gang.
Menu:
Fish Fingers - I like Trader Joe's brand. You can make any kind of fish, but my kids love these.
Pesto Potatoes with Green Beans (I omitted the pasta from this recipe) from Martha Stewart Everyday Food
Kermit Ice Cream - these are really cute from Family Fun's website. I used Mint Chocolate Chip instead of lime sherbert.
